We’re building a welcoming, low-pressure space for creators to develop and stage short works for the community. The first festival is planned for April 18 & 19, 2026 at Theatre VME.

What the festival is

A weekend of 10–25 minute plays with minimal technical requirements, presented by local artists. It’s a chance to try something new, meet collaborators, and share work with an audience.

What we provide

• Venue and basic lights/sound
• Festival marketing and front-of-house support
• Help finding rehearsal space

Compensation

As a new, community-focused initiative, we can’t guarantee a stipend yet. We’re actively seeking funding and will be transparent about any artist fees if they become available.
